Thursday, February 8
09:00-12:00 Discussions (Chairs A. Weatherwax and Brian Jackel) All the difficult issues related with data dissemination: formats, data quality, timeliness, rules-of-road, etc. It would be nice to get a common agreement on these issues at least among the core project community.
Coffee Break during 10:30-11:00.
12:00-13:00 Lunch Break
13:00-15:00 Discussions (Chairs V. Papitashvili, XXX). How to monitor our results? Someone will definitely ask the outcome after the IPY years. How to create fluent data bases for references and conference presentations, lists of special sessions and workshops (E.g. Barrow). Who are we, i.e. whose results should be monitored? When and where to publish review articles? Opportunities for further funding (EU networking funds, ISSI workshops, etc.)
15:00-15:30 Coffee Break
15:30-18:00 Working groups (smaller group in separate rooms):
- Finalizing reports about the Science program
- Finalizing the Implementation Plan
- Finalizing the catalogues of instrument networks and research groups as far as possible
- Any standards for data sharing procedures?
- First plans for EU and ISSI proposals
